Historical Uptime

Historical Uptime lets you view uptime over longer time windows than the main Analytics dashboard.

Use it when you need:

  • Longer date ranges (subject to plan retention)
  • A page-level uptime view (overall)
  • Per-monitor uptime breakdowns

Where to Find It

In the user dashboard sidebar:

  • Analytics → Historical Uptime

You can also open a specific status page directly:

  • /user/analytics/{statusPageId}/historical

If you’re still getting set up, start with the Analytics Dashboard.

What You Can View

Granularity

  • Page (overall): a single uptime series for the whole status page.
  • Monitor: per-monitor uptime series (plus per-monitor table rows).

Date Range

  • Pick a Start and End date (UTC).
  • Use the Quick range buttons (7D / 30D / 90D / 1Y) for common ranges.

The system enforces:

  • End date cannot exceed today (UTC).
  • Start date may be clamped to your plan retention window.

Retention and Plan Limits

Historical Uptime retention depends on your plan.

If you select a start date older than your retention window, the page will automatically adjust the range after refresh.

If you only need a shorter window with daily availability and response-time charts, use the Analytics Dashboard.

Team Access (Role Allowlist)

By default, only Owner and Admin team roles can view Historical Uptime for a status page.

The status page owner can opt-in additional roles:

  1. Open status page settings: /user/status-pages/{statusPageId}/settings
  2. Go to the Access tab
  3. Configure Historical Uptime Access (Teams)
  4. Choose which roles can access historical uptime (Owner always retains access)

If a team member’s role is not allowed, they’ll see an access error.

For role definitions and team setup, see Teams.

Exporting (CSV / JSON)

From the Historical Uptime page you can export:

  • CSV
  • JSON

Exports are generated from the same data shown on-screen.

For full-account exports (beyond historical uptime), see Exporting Your Data.

Troubleshooting

“I can’t view dates older than X”

Historical Uptime is limited by your plan retention. Try a shorter range, or upgrade your plan.

“I’m a team member and I see access denied”

Ask the status page owner to allow your team role under Status Page Settings → Access → Historical Uptime Access (Teams).

“Today looks incomplete”

Today updates as new checks are recorded, so the current day can change throughout the day.
